أسطورة زيلدا: أوكارينا الزمن 3D هي نسخة مُعاد تصميمها من اللعبة الكلاسيكية، تستخدم تقنية التحكم باللمس وجيروسكوب لتحسين تجربة اللعب. يمكن للاعبين الاستمتاع باختيار العناصر ووضع تحدي الزعماء الجديد في مهمة الماستر، الذي يقدم عالماً معكوساً مع ألغاز محسّنة. بينما تبقى القصة دون تغيير، فإن النسخة الجديدة تقدم تحسينات حديثة للمبتدئين والمحترفين. ينطلق اللاعبون في مغامرة كصبي صغير يغادر منزله في الغابة لإنقاذ المملكة، ويقابل أميرة ويقاتل شريراً على طول الطريق.
