Pikmin 2: After Captain Olimar successfully escapes a perilous planet, he learns that Hocotate Freight is bankrupt. To save the company, he and assistant Louie return to the planet to collect treasures. Players control Olimar or Louie, commanding various Pikmin types—each with unique abilities—to solve puzzles, battle enemies, and retrieve treasures. A two-player mode allows competition to collect marbles. The gameplay mirrors the original, emphasizing teamwork and strategy to navigate challenges and utilize the strengths of up to 100 Pikmin.
