Tales of Symphonia is an RPG set in the village of Iselia, where Lloyd Irving learns magic and archaeology under Professor Raine Sage. His friend Colette Brunel, the "Chosen of Sylvarant," embarks on a quest to regenerate their dying world and defeat the oppressive Desians. The game features character development through cinematic cutscenes and unvoiced “skits,” enhancing emotional depth. Players utilize Ex-Spheres for abilities, strategic commands for CPU allies, and cooking for healing. Battles are real-time, allowing up to four characters with unique fighting styles, and multiplayer options enable cooperative play.
