PaRappa the Rapper is an animated film about a dog named PaRappa who aspires to win the heart of Sunny Funny. To compete with a wealthy rival, Joe Chin, PaRappa joins a dojo and learns martial arts. After a series of mishaps, including a traffic accident and a ruined birthday cake, he seeks self-improvement through music. With guidance from an old teacher, he creates a song that captures Sunny's interest, leading to their romance. The 1996 game allows players to control PaRappa through rhythm-based challenges to perfect his song and ultimately win over Sunny.
